LRT Jakarta’s Velodrome–Manggarai line is set to launch with a series of facility and service upgrades for its users. Beyond expanding the city’s transit network, this route promises a superior travel experience centered on hospitality.

The enhancements are showcased through the supporting amenities found across stations on the Velodrome–Manggarai route. Each station features a distinct design and is tailored to be inclusive, ensuring that all commuters' needs are met.
Key amenities include first-aid stations, breastfeeding rooms, water fountains, and SAPA Posts for the protection of women and children. Further, stations are equipped with separate prayer facilities and platform seating, as well as elevators, escalators, and stairs to ensure seamless mobility.

"First-aid stations offer support to commuters requiring assistance, whereas lactation rooms and SAPA Posts are set up to cater to the specific needs of women and children throughout their journey on public transport," he expressed, Thursday (8/27).
He went on to say that improvements extend to the configuration of railway operations. For the Velodrome–Manggarai route, operational facilities are now integrated within the stations.
Consequently, operational gear that once sat on road medians has been relocated, freeing up space for more greenery along the route.
He emphasized that these infrastructure refinements reflect a vision for Jakarta’s mass transport that balances connectivity with comfort, accessibility, and environmental impact.
"LRT Jakarta aims to offer a viable mobility alternative, encouraging a shift away from private vehicle dependency and helping to alleviate urban traffic congestion," he added.
Aside that, LRT Jakarta has undergone a holistic enhancement, spanning infrastructure, operations, amenities, and passenger experience.
"The Velodrome–Manggarai route offers a wider range of facilities with a strong focus on hospitality, providing the community with a significantly more pleasant commuting experience," he clarified
According to him, the upgrades reflect Jakpro and the Jakarta government's dedication to delivering safer, integrated, and community-focused public transit.
He noted that the Velodrome–Manggarai line offers a well-connected travel alternative with superior amenities. This expansion aligns with Jakarta’s vision of evolving into a sustainable and inclusive global city through transport transformation.
"We remain dedicated to providing a seamless experience on this 12.2-kilometer route, which covers 11 stations in about 28 minutes," he concluded.
Notably, the LRT Jakarta Kelapa Gading–Manggarai route serves 11 stations, namely: Kelapa Gading, Boulevard Utara, Boulevard Selatan, Pulomas, Equestrian, Velodrome, Rawamangun, Pramuka, Matraman, Proklamasi, and Manggarai.
